LSU Baseball as a whole

Early May:
Our bats can't get going, the inconsistency is extremely frustrating to watch. Especially on the road, hitting is non-existent. Lefties own our lineup, and we have got to get better against that.
Jay keeps messing with the lineup which I completely disagree with. He made some questionable calls with weekend during the game as well. Find your BEST lineup, and stick with it win or lose. I think Curriel, Jones, Dickinson, DH (JP or Frey), Brown, Milam, Hernandez, Braswell, and Stanfield gives us our best chance to win.
Pitching has been pretty damn good imo. Its the only reason why we have been in games up to this point. Anderson and Eyanson have been shoving. Evans is looking great as a Sunday guy. Our bullpen arms have improved, and Cowen has been lights out all year outside of this past Sunday, I can't be mad about it.
15-9 with 2 series left to go isn't a bad spot to be in. I'm glad we have Ark in BR this weekend, if we can get 2 of 3 I really like our chances of getting a top 8 seed going into South Carolina series.

Thankfully you’re not our coach.
When the games start to matter (post season) Jay has a lineup and sticks with it. He is simply experimenting and giving guys some opportunities that deserve it.
Just sit back and enjoy the sport and all the colors, you don’t understand the big picture.

You don’t think winning conference games matters?

We are in a similar to spot as multiple other SEC teams. There will be ups and downs. We have a very good team. If they put it all together they can make a deep run. But if they hit like they did this weekend, they likely aren’t getting out of a super regional.

Remember that time he had Cade Beloso leading off in Game 3 of the National Championship Series?
You people are fricking insufferable. Let the man do his job.

It’s nothing new but baseball simpletons care way too much about the batting order. Like if that is the first thing you cry about, I already know you don’t know shite

He's small minded, talks like he knows sports but probably the most unathletic guy on the board

With a name like MoLester I mean Lester, nothing you say can be taken serious

He definitely tinkers too much, especially with that lefty/righty thing both pitching and batting. Infuriating at times...

Everyone k ows what he is on this board

He needs to do his job. No excuse with the talent we have if we fall short of Omaha. Let's see how they respond to Arkansas this weekend...a series loss and things start getting dicey.

just because you don't understand it doesn't make it wrong

How about pinch hitting for the guy seeing the baseball best for the day? Jay is a grwt coach, but occasionally tinkers too much.

This isn't MLB....most college teams don't have a prn that is accurate and throws strikes...and not nearly as deep.
Again, you would be embarrassed if you knew who I was. That said, you are clearly a miserable person in life....this is the highlight of your day, daily, getting on a message board being g a total negative douche......always...that speaks volumes about you personally

I mean that is fine, if you also disagree with moves such as going to Primeaux to face Laviolette and striking him out. Is going L vs L tinkering too much too?

Dumb take. You obviously don’t know shite about ball

I don't have a problem with the moves, but no one really knows definitively. Laviolette was 0-6 with 3 K's against right handed pitchers on the weekend.

Leave it to LSU fans to get all upset about the regular season.
The regular season meant absolutely nothing for LSU the past 2 years. They turned it on when it mattered. They were a single error away from a super regional against a very very good team last year. The only way it hurt LSU last year is that they weren't a #1 seed last year and they had to travel for the regional. That isn't the case this year.

Didn't they switch from a LHP to a RHP?
Hernandez has struggled vs RHP this year.
We're back to Rant simpletons thinking bad result = bad coaching move.
Sometimes coaches make perfect moves and the players just don't get it done. Sometimes coaches make terrible moves and the players bail them out.

It matters yea but it's important to have a few guys ready to PH in the postseason. And if you just leave them on the bench throughout conference play then they won't be ready when their time comes. Also none of the lineups have been working for the past month so there's been no reason to stick with anything
