has to be Cook Out. We are back in Carolina, just had a Big Double Cheddar style with bacon and grilled onions, fries and a Cheerwine. Best fast food meal I've had in quite awhile.

I got a burger at Roux 61 in Natchez a few weeks ago. I was really impressed - it had a good flavor

Milo's gets my vote. Wish they hadn't shut down the ones in Mobile and Foley
I also love Eat N Park up in PA/OH/WV

It's pretty damn good fast food. I'd love to have one in Monroe.

Riverside Patty.
Herby K's in Shreveport. People go for the shrimp buster, which is kind of a joke. Get the cheeseburger, man.

One of my favorite spots in Shreveport, but surprisingly I've never had their burger. I guess I feel obligated to get something besides a basic burger when I'm there, but I'll have to give it a shot.

The Double Del at Del Taco is often overlooked. It's similar to a Big Mac without the middle piece of bread.
I like the Big Jack at Jack's too.
Of course, quality can vary greatly from place to place.

I 100% get if someone tells me they don't enjoy a Milo's burger because it is definitely a very polarizing style, but man does it hit the spot for me.
ETA: And for those that are ever in the Bham area, give Hamburger Heaven a shot (get the Jumbo burger, it is their best). It is a fantastic burger.

Hamburger Heaven is legit. If you're in Auburn. go to Sheila C's.

I miss the one in Baton Rouge. Their burgers tasted like the hamburgers I got at Bonanza when I was a kid. I think they char-grilled them.
