Eyanson was great yesterday. Holman and Jump were ok last year but neither blew me away.
I don't think I've heard Yamin's name all season. Dickinson started hot and has cooled off considerably. Priester doesn't play. Mayers doesn't pitch in SEC play. Loer didn't pitch important innings last year. Bingham added nothing. Kade Woods has added nothing.

that's really the issue. We were led to believe much better about the makeup of this team, and it isn't even close to what we were told. If the hype was just a rebuilding year with new players, then the expectation would be a lot less and more understandable. Especially in the bullpen.

There's a serious lack of power. Hernandez and Dickinson had big HR numbers against lower level pitching, but it hasn't translated to the SEC.

I think some of the transfer guys were oversold, particularly when it comes to power at the plate.

Talent is most certainly not the issue with this team. It's the performance being gotten out of it by the coaching staff.

Maybe they should have gotten SEC caliber bullpen guys instead of mediocre mid-week pitchers.
