Coach Jay Johnson is hard to figure out…

He pinch hits for a guy who hit a double off the wall and a HR in his last two ABs. But then he sends up the high school fly ball king who didn’t even hit the ball past the pitcher.

Mr. Analytics with no gut feeling for moves, imo. But I'm noy the coach to know what and why he coaches as he does. His lineup changes and moves this weekend are mind boggling to me. I wonder what the players might be thinking about the moves that he makes.

He’s an average coach who can recruit well. Pretty simple.
