Is he picking the order out of a hat? I still think Curiel is the best lead off in the league.

Curiel has been the perfect prototype leadoff hitter all year. I dont know why Jay wants to tinker with that.

I’m fine with it. Everyone has bitched about the inability to score runs lately and now they’ll bitch about Jay trying to do something different with the lineup.

The inability to score runs isn’t because of where guys are hitting…it’s because guys aren’t hitting. And guys aren’t failing to hit because of where they are hitting.

People were bitching about Frey being in the lineup yesterday. He is the reason we won the game. I think at this point we let the Head Ball Coach do his job.

So far, not this weekend.

Well not necessarily. Players will get pitched to differently depending on who is batting before or after them on occasion

The inability to score runs is because guys aren’t getting hits in a row. The order of the lineup can greatly influence that. We had 8 hits and 5 walks in game 1, but only scored 1.

He has only lead off in 1 of the 2 games

No Brown and Frey ans Pearson in. A&M must be starting a LHP. Don't mind the tinkering, but Brown should be an everyday starter....

Correct. Game 1. Nothing wrong with tinkering, as long as he has the hottest hitters in the lineup. Sometimes you mix them up to see what is working best. You can't be afraid to try something new. It's helps down the line.

it’s because guys aren’t hitting.

Milam all the way down to the 8 hole. Maybe this will get him going.

Just watch the game and see what happens

Guys that have played a lot of baseball will say this isn’t entirely accurate.
