I think it's the natural progression of giving them equal political power as men.

Women are much more emotional and empathetic on average, so it's not that much of a surprise when they behave this way.

It's fine when you're dealing with a family. But unchecked empathy for society as a whole, foreign nations? It leads to bad policy.
