Anyone else been having electrical problems ever since the workers have been blocking our streets to "upgrade" equipment that was just upgraded 5 years ago after Hurricane Laura? I've had power surges, brief losses of power, and now breakers tripping. None of this happened before the street blocking "upgrades."

Please bear with us as we resolve post-installation issues.

Yes, we have monthly power outages here. I thought it was an Entergy problem, but then we moved out around Chennault and have JDE.
Same thing, every month they have various outages, some planned, all to upgrade the systems and make them safer. Please bear with us.

Had no issues for a decade living in this area… Entergy did “upgrades” a couple of years ago and just for my street and three or four around me, the power would go out if it was moderately windy. They eventually upgraded their upgrade and the issue was fixed, but it was a pain in the arse for a while.

They might have fricked up your grounding.
If you can use a multimeter check each leg coming in. If the voltage is unbalanced there's and issue upstream.
Should be 120 on each leg.
Don't do shite if you don't know what you are doing. Get someone to come out.
It happened a lot after the hurricane. The contractor guys just restring and hooked up. Some areas they didn't understand the way the houses were tied in and ended up causing issues.
Mine was one of them. Mainly noticed when the central unit wouldn't load and the dryer would but not turn when the central air was on.
Voltages at the outlet were like 70 to 90 in places. Which lead me to the panel. Voltage at my disconnect for my central was like 97.
Coming into the box from the meter one leg was 70 and the other was 170
Edit. Entergy big wig was in the field helping and he is the one figured out. He said to keep paperwork and gave me a ticket copy for insurance should it have fricked up my central unit.

Don’t come to Welsh because the power routinely shuts off and on many times a month. I’ve read angry posts on the Welsh FB page of people having their appliances and TVs ruined. Thankfully, it hasn’t happened to me yet.
