I'll never forget when Gervase tweeted that he was staying just to delete the tweet within 24 hours

Everyone was shocked when he tweeted that. Turned out it was because he didn't realize there was another day of the draft.

Sat next to his family at the Minute Maid classic and I was amazed at the pride and passion they all had when he entered the game. I will always root for this kid.

Ran into him and I guess family outside the stadium before the TN football game a couple years ago. Didn’t ‘meet’ but got to shake his hand and thank him for his baseball service. Super nice guy.

6’10, 97 MPH fastball, 35 K’s, only 7 walks, 1.4 ERA, very smart kid with a high GPA, and an all around good guy, and only 16/200 coaches get back to him. Pretty much a perfect example of how fricking lazy most people are. These guys are baseball coaches who have nothing else going on and they can’t even respond to someone like that to see where it goes?
