What I know is that a team with only 4 pitchers cannot make a post season run.

Timely hitting is more of an issue. 6 runs in the last 2 Sunday games is terrible

Pitching hasn’t been the problem the last two weeks.

I've been on this board a little while now and I can promise you this is said every single year multiple times and every year it gets more upvotes than downvotes ,at least once

Agreed. The offense has been the problem the past few weeks.

The last 3-4 lsu teams have gained steam way later than tax day. There aren’t many things still relevant to when Skip was coaching.

Correct. People just say it now to cause a stir and try to look smart if they end of being correct. Rather than trying to come up with why they think 16 teams are better.

Teams aren't exactly scoring runs in bunches or anything.

Someone doesn't remember 2023.

And spare me the "I knew Thatcher Hurd and our bullpen were going to deal in Omaha" take.

You didn't know that.

Cooper down the stretch was other worldly.
Guys stepped up in the CWS like Hurd.

Lolololololol
Some of you are unreal.so there wasn’t a stat such as OB%? Slg%? Have fun and do a little research on Skip in studying opposing teams hitters and pitchers tendencies, especially in Omaha. Pretty sure he stayed alone in the hotel for the tournament - not even Sandy allowed in the room.

That is a fact. I believe there was a mid season lull in 2023. The conference wasn’t as hard just 2 years ago. OU and Tejas has made it even harder.
