Best lsu big league career?

Ben and Tom were just discussing who is next SEC player to go into HOF.
Got me thinking, which LSU player had the best mlb career?
Albert Belle hit 50 homers and 50 doubles in one season. 381 career homers. But he didn’t play for LSU, Joey did.
DJ LaMahieu won batting title in NL and AL.
Bergman off to a good start, but still has a ways to go.
Skenes obviously has potential for a great career.
Who you got?

Theriot got two rings. Doesn’t have the stats.

It’s Albert Belle and it’s not even close He should have won MVP twice but he was a dick to the media.
First guy to ever hit 50 HR and 50 doubles in a season.

Belle for sure. Alvin Dark and Jo Adcock were also good.

I went to a ton of LSU baseball games when Joey Belle was playing. Dude used to hit bombs almost to the old married student housing

Alvin Dark has over 2,000 hits and won 994 big league games and a pair of World Series rings.

Could Albert and Joey be the same person?

DJ over Bregman in terms of stats and winning the silver slugger and batting titles in both leagues is impressive. His 3 Gold Gloves is also a difference. DJ has higher career BA as well.
Bregman has rings tho.

One stat I’ve always loved about Albert. At the time it was only he, Ruth, Foxx and Gehrig…was some elite company at the time.
“Belle became the fourth player to have eight straight seasons of 30 home runs and 100 RBI, joining Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig (a feat since matched by Albert Pujols, Rafael Palmeiro, Manny Ramirez and Alex Rodriguez)”
