Meh. He went 6 for 12 two weeks ago against Oklahoma. He had a bad weekend at Auburn much like a few of his teammates. He’s still got the 4th best batting average against SEC pitching.
I’m guessing he sat bc he has basically caught the last 9 games in a row.

Hernandez took some bad hits last week, one that I was really amazed that didn’t take him out of the game for a while. He deserves a rest!

I went to the McNeese game. He went down behind the plate for several minutes. Didn't see the pitch but I think it hit him in his manhood. He was doubled over for a while. I believe that's why he's not in the lineup. Hope he's OK.
