Going to miss him but should have stepped aside 2 years ago.

Great memories of the old Gameday, dont watch the current iteration.

What a legend. I’m going to miss him tremendously on College Game Day.

Father Time is undefeated, unfortunately. It’s just part of life.

Great run, he was awesome over the years. My favorite story of his was when he talked about running out of the tunnel with a turkey on a leash while coaching at Indiana. I would pay money to see a clip of that. Coach!

It was a little tough watching him the last few years, but that's how it goes when you're his age. What he brought to Gameday was unique and he'll be greatly missed on that show. Saban does well for what he is, but he's just not the fun type of person that Corso is. Then you have that douchebag Pat McAfee who is in his 40s and still hasn't matured past the age of 12.

I used to love watching college Gameday back in the day and would always make it a point to see which headgear he would pick. He's done a lot for the game of college football and will always be remembered.

Picked LSU mascot 25 times. Wonder how may times he picked against the tigers?

Gonna miss him on Saturdays

He was great for that show. Gonna miss him. At least they got another ex coach with a fun personality to take his spot. Oh

He will be missed.

Times a changing. No more Corso, Musburger or Jackson. Legends.

Growing up I skipped cartoons to watch college game day. Sucks to lose such a legend. Hope he's in great health on that day so he can be properly sent off.

The desire to find anything possible to complain about. GameDay hasn't changed nearly as much as people have changed. I still enjoy watching it every Saturday.

It might be a bit more than that, it’s been tough seeing him trotted out here but glad to see him ride off into the sunset.

End of a great era. See ya coach.

You're not the only one. I stopped watching a few years ago. I checked in once or twice last year, meh.

Love that old guy but it was time about 3 years ago. No sense in sitting him up there like a parody of himself and making that the lasting impression of him.

For me? Too big, 6, 7, 8 people on the set is too busy.

He has gotten better, but McAfee just tires me out. I get it he is the future, the now but he does talk a lot. Which leads to:

The show was segment based when it started, they needed the content. A story on a player or a school, maybe a tradition. Now they just scream at each other for a couple of hours.

Preferred the leaner version with content.
