With the cap ramifications and Carr’s attitude, make him the 3rd string emergency inactive QB each week leading up to the trade deadline.
If a contending QB goes down with an injury, Carr may waive his no trade clause during the season.
Otherwise, just embarrass him each week with his inactive status—especially if he continues to fake an injury without an actual surgery.
Don’t cut Carr. Don’t make his wish come true. Release him only at the best cap moment.

Don't think they're in on anything. Be upset that they got duped but Carr is basically flaking on them. He wanted out but couldn't find a taker, they assumed he'd just be a normal player and play it out.

There has got to be something in his contract at some point to prove he is hurt. There is no way he gets to walk with 40mil this year and then 69 next.
I would fine the living fck out of him for everyday he misses the real training camp. Get the best doctors in the world to prove if he is hurt. And If we have to pay the 69 mil next year I would keep him on the roster for 2 more years.
