Have they said why Arrimbide is not catching tonight. He was supposed to be the starting catcher…

Idk, but I bet Hernandez's balls wish Arambede was catching.

I feel bad for Hernandez. This would be a lot games for anyone but especially someone who has never caught like this before. I worry about how he will hold up in June

I would also like to know why Arrambide is not catching tonight. Is he hurt?

Hernandez gets beat up behind the plate. He really needs a break to heal up if he is gonna make the whole season. We need him in SEC play.

Is Priester no longer an option to catch?

Seems like if Arrimbide couldn’t play last minute, and Hernandez really needs the rest, that Priester could play in a mid week game.

Hernandez was the starting catcher at Indiana St last year. He has plenty of experience.

Well… he’s playing and it’s a mid-week game, so it’s not against SEC comp.

So… no reason he couldn’t have started the game.

He was sick. Apparently several of the players had something.
