You spelled Deep Space Nine wrong.

I've seen a couple articles lately that seem to think another season of the Orville could still happen but after all this time I'm getting skeptical

I see this show pop up on here regularly. Is it streaming anywhere? I did a web search and came up empty.

I'm only in season 3. So far, the episodes that move the plot along are great. The filler episodes can be difficult to get through.

The Orville and Strange New Worlds are both good.

Agreed. I absolutely love the Orville. It’s the closest thing to peak TNG out there.

First season could be a bit awkward as they struggled to introduce characters and get storylines seeded. Once it got its shite together though...

...it was a knockout.

I said the same thing until Strange New Worlds came around. SNW is simply incredible.

I really wanted to hate The Orville when I first heard about it but it was excellent. "Enterprise" was better despite the sucky last episode.

Do you prefer the racist episodes or the gay episodes? They seem to go back and forth between the two.

So, the same social commentary Trek has always had?

I also enjoyed Enterprise. I wish it wasn't cancelled and could have its full run.

And I will add the caveat this applies to TV, because Galaxy Quest is brilliance.

I didn't even know this show existed until about 6 years ago. It's vastly undervalued and probably my third favorite Star Trek series. Scott Bakula as Capt. Archer just fits so well. The trio of Archer, T'Pol, and Trip is as good as the Original Series big trio.

I like to think The Orville is just Seth MacFarlane's Enterprise character living out space adventures in a holodeck.

I have to say going from the Klingon looking dude sitting on an egg in his quarters to losing his battle to prevent his newborn daughter from a forced sex change operation 2 episodes later was the very definition of things escalating fast.

Just wrapped up Picard last week. I thought that it was pretty good. Brought back everyone at some point that was main characters in NG.

I wish that everyone could relax their canon sphincters long enough to enjoy it. It's by far the most purely entertaining Star Trek since the original series (and the good original cast films.)
