With the talk that Zion will be moved this summer, what are you looking for in return ?

No bad salary, an interesting young prospect and like 2 decent picks.

Like would Portland do Ayton(expiring salary filler), Shaedon Sharpe and 2 bucks picks?

I don’t think we’re getting much especially if it’s being leaked that Gayle has mandated he be traded. You lose a ton of leverage in addition to the fact that he barely plays

Probably gonna end up some shite like sending him to Phoenix in a Durant trade, while Durant goes to Washington.

Something like:
Wizards: Durant
Suns: Zion
Pels: Poole, 2025 Wizards 1st

That’s about the most I anticipate, would much rather keep him as he would be worth way more

I love Zion and wish they don’t trade him. But if they do. I would say trade him to Charlotte for Brandon Miller and picks.

Absolutely NO reason Washington would try to go for Durant, esp to give up a 2025 1st.

If the return is that, I'm just keeping him and letting him either rot or succeed. And go about our time rebuilding around the rookie and trey. Eventually his contract will end.

A combo of the Bruce brown, Kelly olynyk, and random 1st is not going to give you much of anything. Getting lucky and having him for 30 games and a few playoff series might be an ace.

I want to trade him, without taking back salary. The most obvious partner is the Nets. They have 4 1sts in this draft. One should be top 8. The other 3 are much later. I think if the pick falls to 6 or later they would be looking to trade it. Say we could get #7, #26 and a future 1st, that would be enough for me..

Would be a wonderful "return"...for the Pelicans. (But...I doubt the Hornets would even consider it)

My hope is they go about the rebuild the correct way this time around .

Go get draft capital or guys early in their first contract . Really like Reed Sheppard . Would love to get him but doubt they would trade Z w/n the division .

Like Jared McCain too.

We're getting a decent return. He has three years left on his contract. If we don't find a good deal this offseason we can just hold him and make him play next season and then trade him at the deadline for a desperate enough contender. This isn't like the BI situation where we had to trade or sign him by the end of the season.
