Progressives in the US are watching this and smiling. They want this so bad here. They want to be able to jail you for any thought crime along with any perceived politically "incorrect" crime. Fun part is, they get to define what all of these are, and who actually has to follow them or be jailed.

Not just that, notice he said asking someone to speak English ”could be perceived” to be a hate crime. So, apparently all it takes to commit a hate crime in the UK now is for someone to feel like you’ve done so. Laws are now based purely on emotion.
