Like I said yesterday, I'm not getting worked up if the market goes up or if it goes down. Leave your funds in the market for a long time in stocks that you believe in and don't get caught up in the ups and downs. The meteoric meltdown over stocks from people here recently has been wild to see.

That's the way I am with mine. I have at least 30 years left of working. If the few stocks I am invested in make me a little extra money after 30 years then great if not it's not going to ruin me.

100%. I'm a pretty boring investor, really. I basically buy SPLG and SCHD, set the DRIP function and leave it alone. I've got about 30 years left as well.

Or…. it could be never trumpers wish casting… hoping the market goes down so it makes DJT look bad. Anything…. Even if it’s bad for our country…. To them is good.

Time in the market beats timing the market and diversification are the only two principles anyone really needs to know for investing. Stick to those and you never need to spend a single minute thinking about your stocks/investments. Really simple stuff.

I’m 74,retired at 60.I’m 70% stocks/30 % cash.With S.S. and my paltry pension wife and I can easily ride out 3-4 years of stock market downturn.

My long term investments are in the same positions they were 7 weeks ago when I was at an all time high, and they’ll be in the same positions when the market goes higher.
I moved my short term accounts to about 2/3 fixed rate in December.
