Espada yanking Wesneski (who was absolutely dealing btw) for Tay Scott after only 82 pitches was criminal, and is further proof that he cannot properly handle a bullpen
Need Frambaw to figure it out today

Glad I missed it. Two bad teams with managers in over their heads trying to out-maneuver the other for a loss. Our manager’s will was too strong.

Ehh I’m fine with taking Wesneski out he was in pretty uncharted territory and that was a long half inning to sit and probably pre determined to take him out trailing in the 8th anyway
The issue was going to Scott. He’d looked shaky all year and I know they were in a heavy RHH portion of their lineup and we were down relievers but King and Okert are probably just better pitchers than Scott. He hadn’t earned that inning more than those guys.
That should have been two games in a row where the opposing manager just makes a nonsensical pitching decision in the 8th and the Astros took advantage and won but Scott just shite his pants against two awful hitters

Crane has turned the best managed organization in the game to one of the worst in 3 short years.

So arrighetti has a broken thumb. Struck by a ball from batting practice. The hits just keep on coming.
Nevermind. Sorry, that was yesterday’s news.

Astros had to send some money, but they actually got the Braves to trade for Montero

They have to be covering most of his salary this year. No idea why any team would take him on otherwise
