C Francis). Rodrigue's cell record displayed a brief call to each of his parents around 9:50pm. The phone calls
lasted about 1 minute to each parent.
That doesn't bode well, imo... a grown man making separate, back to back, brief phone calls to his mom and dad late in the evening...
Out of curiosity, what makes an adult's disappearance "critical"?

Sounds similar to the Georgia man, Nathan Millard, who went missing in Baton Rouge and some jumped to conclusions that it was a boogey man out there when he was involved in a personal drug excursion and got into a lethal situation.
Smart of NOPD to disclose from the jump the Doctor's history.

I know him through friends. He has been missing over five days. They need to start dragging the bayou or knocking on doors in shady motels.

That guy was the real life Bill Ponderosa. He went out like a champ.

Probably reason to believe he killed himself is my guess

Detectives initially can’t rule this option out.

What was the content of those calls? That seems like crucial information.

He likes to party? He had his “demons”?

Based on some things I have heard about him, it wouldn’t surprise me. He has a past with some heavy substance abuse. I got sent a text at day 3 he was missing and his immediate circle of friends was very worried.

He seems to have people who care for him. I hope he's found and can get the help he needs to get on track.

Dont know about that but I'm pretty sure he has bounced around some and thats a red flag in that profession.
I may be thinking of another doctor that has a similar background. NO is a magnet for sketch doctors and lawyers.
