Trump voters melting over Tariffs

Do you regreet your vote? Do you wish Harris had won and kept the status quo of unchecked immigration, waste, fraud, 2 trillion deficits, not putting American interests first, propping up Ukraine, outsourcing manufacturing overseas, and devaluing the dollar?
Is that what you prefer because of a temporary drop in stock market while Trump tries to fix this mess? If so, I hope we never get into a major real war because none of you even have the stomach for a minor trade war.
Our economy is just like our military, it’s by and large the strongest and biggest on the earth. We have the upper hand and we won’t lose to inferior nations.

I don’t know a single Trump voter who’s melting right now. Everyone I know is giving him a nine out of 10 or 10 so far on his presidency

With anyone there are positives and negatives. You’ll never find a politician you align with 100%.
This is just one of the negatives. Although, I didn’t forsee it happening to this degree.

"TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING"

Nope.
Have not met one of these you mention.

I'm not melting. I'm loving every minute of watching the chicken littles go crazy about it though.
This is what we voted for. We want our country back and America comes first.

Roadgator and Bucky said they voted for Trump and have melted since taking office.

No, but it's becoming very clear we may not get a Vance presidency if economic instability continues, and the price increases from tariffs haven't even materialized yet.

Not melting at all. I'm not naive enough to think anything (especially the economy) can be fixed in the short term. It's a long term issue and I don't think most people can wrap their minds around that because most are conditioned to expect immediate gratification

I'm only a little diappointed that he's not being a little more heavy-handed. We should be negotiating down the debt to foreign investors as part of the tariff negotiations.

I don’t regret voting Trump over Harris. I regret the Republican Party chose an 80 year old 90’s Democrat over the most successful conservative Governor of my lifetime who would have been a more effective executive and a better standard bearer for the future of the party.

almost 1,400 days remaining in the Trump presidency and you're in here bleeding about Vance's chances.

Something that has to be done; might as well do it now.
We've been assured that automation will eventually wipe out manufacturing/blue collar jobs and yet it's actually the service jobs being wiped out by AI. Our entire economy is built on people buying things and that's not sustainable if service workforces of the future are half-or-lower of what they were in 2019. Even IT grads can't find jobs and that's what Obama told everyone to do instead.
Politically, Trump is going to take all the blame and the next admin will take all the credit for the benefits reaped. Whatever, I don't care and neither does Trump (for once). This type of decisive action is exactly what is needed.

The ones I know are upset. Anybody conducting business with Chyna is getting hammered, and that means MORE price increases.
The discrepancy in uneven tariffs could and should have been done quietly and incrementally behind the scenes, say starting with 10% across the board.
Instead Trump and his advisors decided to toss the ball down the field for the whole shebang. The timing makes no sense at all -- and now the Middle Class and working class budgets are about to be smoked, mainly by China.

Its the retarded fabrications in that rollout that has people freaked.
Trump dont have a policy, he's winging it, its obvious and of course smarter people will react.

If we see another 5% drop on Monday, and another 5% drop on Tuesday, I'll start to worry a little bit, as economic things can snowball out of control. I'd rather a more measured approach that puts in these tariffs incrementally instead of all-at-once-everywhere. But that's nit picking. I absolutely do not regret my vote for Trump. Yet.
He's gonna have to frick up a whole lot of shite before I would say we'd be better off with Harris.
