Best use of saving the bullpen with an incredible outing by Anderson!! I do worry about 135 pitches consistently him being tired late in the season or even next weekend.

He gets an extra day this week . Should be fine

When you’re resting a week you should go 135 if dealing and able

He gets an extra day of rest and I bet they let him skip his bull pen this week to get extra rest. What a studly outing

Jesus H. Did you ask Kade how his arm was? Or did you confide in Jay to make sure? Take the helm and manage the club. Jay is a wash

But now we can’t use Kade rest of weekend. Bad coaching

The last time an mlb pitcher threw 135 pitches in a game was in 2010. It is an outrageous number of pitches, objectively.

Agreed. You dont see that level of stretch outside of a must win playoff game. Its puzzling to me Jay woukd do that this early in the season with 2 ace relievers ready.

That’s not why they don’t do it anymore.

It’s too many pitches for sure.
Who knows how it will impact Anderson. I certainly don’t.

Probably only time this season unless a 7 inning game you will see CG. No worries

Jay wants to win all 3 games this weekend. Kade will be fine.

Was this an MLB game with 4/5 day rotation?
If you are gonna argue “objectively” at least pull some SEC stats out.
