They might as well renew them indefinitely, network TV is effectively dead. There's nothing to replace them with. What was the last new show that was a hit for the networks?

I love American dad. Didn’t realize it got back on at fox

I doubt many people watch them live on Fox but they probably do nuclear numbers on Hulu from people who have watched these shows growing up and still throw them on for background noise. They are built to kind of fade in and out of episodes without needing to commit to really watching

American Dad and Bob’s Burgers are phenomenal shows. Although BB has been going downhill with every episode now seeming as if it has to have some big sentimental story.

Spot on, sir. When sports aren't on, the adult cartoons are background noise at my house.

I adore American Dad. It's my favorite of the bunch. Still think a majority of their new episodes are solid.

Took near 15 years, but American Dad is finally being recognized as the best McFarlane production. Will go down in history probably only behind prime Simpsons from our generation in term of adult animation. Really wish it could skip Fox and just be produced for Hulu.

They are going to forgo the traditional 22 episode season and these seasons will be 15 episodes each apparently.

Fox is actually a network.

I do except the Simpsons. Used to be a big fan but it just fell off hard for me.
Family Guy has been hit or miss but I sill enjoy the hell out of it.

Gene Belcher is one of the great animated characters of the last 20 years.

I watch Family Guy and American Dad, my wife like Bob's but I do not. I have never watched the Simpsons to any real degree.

Steve, Jeff, and Roger have become incredibly well written characters. I love Jeff. Stan is still frustrating, but inept fathers still drive these shows.

with everyone I know it's kinda the opposite. All of us that grew up watching prime era simpsons and seeing it be one of the funniest shows of all time and then comparing to now, it's almost insulting. Like there is less than zero desire to watch any current edition of the show.
