Heard it on Walton and Johnson, but supposedly a high level GOP staffer said he has a hooker sex scandal and is only "running" to collect money before ducking out. If that is the case, I will donate money myself just to get him out of this state.

People are too unsatisfied with him at the state level for this to be covered up.

Doubtful. He’s pissed off too many high ranking Republicans at both the state and federal level for anyone to keep a lid on that story. Jeff Landry would love to appoint a MAGA replacement and get some brownie points with Trump. A lot of Republicans in DC would love to be able to replace him with someone they don’t have to worry about being another Susan Collins or Murkowski type that can’t be trusted on important votes.

For the one time I have to say this, I’d be fine with Cassidy staying in so that Landry cannot exert more corrupt power. Landry is an enemy to this state. But, because he says he’s maga, people vote for him.
