This kind of news rolls off the back of Tesla bulls. They can’t think of it as a car company or the valuation is indefensible.

their biggest markets were the people who are now attacking their vehicles.

Well that is why everyone knew Q1 was not going to be good. New model Y selling like hotcakes though. Entergy storage up 156% YoY being 2nd best quarter for it.

Let us look how the auto stocks are doing, looking at 1 year

TSLA +58%

GM +6%
STLA -61%
F -24%
TM -27%
HMC -26%
BMW.DE -31%
MBG.DE -27%

Well that fricks up the doom and gloom narrative.

It shouldn't be a problem for Tesla to sell those 10 trucks....

Elon drama aside, TSLA is still by far the best EV selection on the market

Lucid and Rivian will capitalize on this some though, and i would not touch an EV from a legacy american automaker.

Toyota seems like they're going all-in on hybrids, which is what alot of people want anyway.

I give Toyota credit for this, they were the one manufacturer that did not go all in on EV. They said they are fine with hybrid and that decision is going to pay off probably on their bottom line.

I love my Rivian R1S. Really hope the company can figure it out financially bc they seem to be on the brink of really accelerating forward or falling in the abyss. I think they will crush sales with the R2 model however.

At this point, Tesla is a meme stock for investors - individuals, professionals and institutions - who should know better. Shares are up 2.34% as of 11a CST today.

Concerned about a 25% miss on sales and rapidly declining deliveries in key markets? Don't worry - I'm sure we'll have Robotaxis and fully-functioning humanoid robots...next quarter? Maybe by year-end? Whatever - Wall Street will keep guzzling down Musk's BS while he gets gacked out of his mind on ketamine, collects a few more baby mamas, and argues with randos on X at 3am.

Read that as a special govt. employee he was only allowed to serve 130 days for the administration so they are expecting that to be up near June.

Read that in a "Tesla's sales plunge" article Heavy early investors really want him to step away as CEO because they feel his political alliance is directly effecting the stock price.
