Looking at the forecast Thursday thru Saturday and not looking too good. May be a roller coaster series…load up on snacks for late nights or breakfasts!????????

Yeah I wanted to take my boys to the Saturday game but with the temps being in the 50s and it raining I think I’ll stay in Tulsa.

Tornadoes are a common atmospheric phenomenon in central Oklahoma during April. Is it possible their presence could upend this crucial SEC series?

Ballpark is mid. Smallest in the sec at 3k capacity

It’s very outdated. They don’t support baseball like softball

I was planning on driving up from Dallas on Friday to go to game that night, but it's looking sketchy with the weather. Will wait until Wednesday to figure a game plan I guess.

If pattern holds, they should be good for game on Thursday. Friday and Saturday could be a crap shoot.

Which makes it even more amazing that top quality players/pitchers like Witherspoon would think “ Yea OU is definitely the place I want to go play college baseball”

Bad weather seems to follow this team. Good thing is, they're used to schedule changes and really late games.

They could finish on Sunday but the game has to start on Saturday - like they did with Miss State...

Surprising considering they’re a top 10 team rn and were in the championship series a few years ago

OU vs Mississippi State should have some sort of name recognition due to each schools meteorology programs and how each state are hot beds for twisters.

Perhaps “The Cyclone Cup” trophy? Permanent rivalry?

It's nothing special. And small. It was considered to be in the bottom half of Big 12 ballparks, which is not saying much.

My funny memory of Oklahoma baseball was around 2008 or so, when Sunny Golloway was the head coach. (Yes, the same guy who became Auburn's coach in 2014-15). Golloway's daughter was going to Oklahoma State and posed nude in Playboy for a "Girls of the Big 12" feature.

Whenever Golloway left the dugout to talk to the ump or visit the mound, opposing students would hold up his daughter's naked Playboy shot. Sometimes there would be dozens of them.

I know, it's Beavis 'n Butthead stuff, but it was funny back then.
