Is it OK to form your own opinion on issues, or should you stick to the party line?

Should Americans consider different points of view on issues, or listen to their tribe to decide?

What to do if you disagree? Keep quiet for the "whole good"?

Speak up? So your tribe mates consider a different point of view?

Is there anything important enough to stick your neck out about, or is it brave enough to go along?

What does your tribe think that you, in general, disagree with?

Why do you say that, my fellow-American?

We live live in a world of pure political tribalism now. It's absolutely killed rational discussion in this country. There was a time in the not too distant past where a garden variety liberal and a garden variety conservative could be friends and not take shite too seriously. We would all even agree on shite at times.

Well those days are over. Progressives started all this bullshite and MAGA's have doubled down on it.

On this board there is only requirement, total and complete loyalty to Trump. Anyone who is conservative he doesn't like, is a RINO and everyone who may be critical of him or MAGA are just dems.

Some of us prefer neither. Some of us understand that although there's a difference between a conservative and a liberal, there's no real difference at all between a Republican and a Democrat. Some of us understand that a political party does not necessarily represent a political philosophy or idealogy.

I'm conservative, but I'm real frickin' far from being a Republican.

You should form your own opinions based on whats best for you and others. Try the Bible.

I try to avoid always being lockstep with the main flow on the right. For example, when the Signal Chat situation hit the media cycle and it was determined the invite to Goldberg for Signal Chat came from Waltz / Wong, I said Trump should shite can both ASAP and was down voted by a lot of the PT forum regulars. I still think if Waltz and Wong knowingly had Goldberg on their devices as a contact they should've already been sent packing. Trump/America First/MAGA can not afford any frick ups in round 2, particularly unforced errors.

In real life, that’s encouraged.

On this board, that’ll get you banned.
