"That savings comes from the averted births that will not occur because abortions happened instead," McCluskie said in a video shared to social media. "So a birth is more expensive than an abortion — so the saving comes in Medicaid births that will not occur."
“A modest proposal” is no longer satire.

Can we abort the mothers instead?

I guess we can afford to kill babies to save the world.

Prudent expenditure of tax revenues paid by everyone or social policies favored by a very vocal minority?

I would prefer the state pay for sterilization. If poor people want to screw like rabbits and dont want to buy a $1 condom they they should be on board with it.
Actions have consequences. They need to pay for their orgasams.
Hell I would even give them a $2500 signing bonus.

OK let's apply their "logic" to other areas then ..... instead of spending time and money filing lawsuits against tyrannical government overreach and fighting their own lawfare initiatives .... it's just cheaper to kill them

I don’t think murdering children to save money is a good idea
There are strong arguments for abortion rights such as privacy, health of women, etc
Eugenics is by far the worst of the arguments and abortionists should not employ that argument ever

by the same logic, it's cheaper to let poor people starve to death than pay for their welfare

Isn't eugenics one of the founding tenants of early abortion thought?

You know what is better than abortion? Just about every other thing in LIFE ! And until that day then even birth control is cheaper than abortion in money and soul

Eugenics (/ju?'d??n?ks/ yoo-JEN-iks; from Ancient Greek e?~ (eû) 'good, well' and -?e??? (gen?s) 'born, come into being, growing/grown')[1] is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population.
Sure there is, but like virtually everything they do the democrats just call it something else.

Margaret Sanger would be blushing with pride

Except illegals..."We'll pay for illegals to have as many babies as they want".

These are very evil people and it's sick so many in our nation see human sacrifice as either a "right" or a political point for any reason. It's indefensible and yet...

Know whats cheaper than abortion?
Mass sterilization...
She should introduce that.
Anyone paying under $1 in taxes after 18 should be immediately sterilized.
Since cheap is the overriding function.

It wasn’t called Planned Parenthood then, but it morphed into it.

Margaret Sanger retired as head of the organization in 1959. Was it performing abortions at that time?
