Hopefully this is just Republican voters forgetting to vote in a special election like most voters usually do but otherwise could be concerning ...

This really isn't on Pressler. This is on Michael Whatley.

Republican voters don’t like the republicans party. If Trump isn’t on the ballot they don’t vote. Need to quit running rhino’s and get America First candidates.

Please, please don't confuse Trump's popularity with love for the Republican party.

That is the lesson to be learned here.

Michael Whatley apparently resting on his laurels.

I hate how complacent GOP voters get sometimes.

The Pennsylvania senate has 50 members. It has 13 million people in the state. That is 260,000 people per district, so maybe 175000 votes. The total votes cast were 50-something thousand.

Michael Whatley probably didn't even know about this race.

How many had no idea there was a special election as the dems bagged votes and drove them in by 400.

Anyone who refuses to believe that some Republican voters are disenchanted with how Trump's administration is handling issues is just burying their heads in the sand to avoid reality.

With so many districts being near 50-50 it doesn't take much to swing from Red to Blue.

That's what makes it frustrating. A little effort and the seat is reclaimed. I guess the RNC doesn't play in state races.

Yes. It's terrible all the $ being saved/recovered. Seeing federal employees who have been sucking at taxpayer tit suffer the same fate as private sector employees is certainly disheartening. It's certainly enough to make people forget what a shitshow the last 4 years were.
