If Goldberg is correct & theses were classified or highly sensitive messages, he is guilty

under the espionage act, which would require that he notify the participants that he was unauthorized to be in the thread. He is not allowed to quietly read all the messages as they come through... and then report them to the public.

I don't think RiverCT is speaking for them, first of all, just throwing an idea out there.
Second of all... if JG **believed** he was in a chat for which he had no security clearance and he believed classified information was being shared, he should be culpable for something.
