I’d take her mentor, but she did learn a lot from him.

Cool I guess but we’re celebrating spending more money for a program that loses >$8M/yr

Leon Barmore did more with less and had the highest winning percentage in womens basketball history when he retired. Mulkey did learn from the best and if you are under 40 you have no idea.

Ask the people donating the money if they really care.

Who is donating the money & to where?
LSU WBB spent $11.8M last year

I’m assuming they get to dip into the TAF money and also get a taste of what football, and a on a smaller scale Men’s Basketball distributes back to the other sports through the AD from their profits. Then there’s whoever is giving money for whatever NIL deals the Lady Tigers have in place, which probably overlaps with TAF donors but they might also donate money directly to different Lady Tiger’s booster groups on top of their NIL dealings. So again I say- ask these people if they care about this.
If the point you’re trying to get to is a state university and state government spending unnecessary funds for an entity that loses money- well brother, flying out and housing members of the practice team for a squad in NCAAW Sweet Sixteen should be the least of your worries.

WBB had almost the exact same amount of outside contributions coming in last year as the men's team did.

& they spent $11.8M for a total loss of $8.5M
Must be going for $12M this year

What does it matter to you? Would you prefer us lose less money and the program be dead like it was before Kim got here?

That’s extreme, but we could start by not celebrating the excessive spending
