Does LSU baseball have the worst defensive outfield in the past few decades?

I've never seen so many poor judgements, bad angles, and slow jumps when the ball is hit. Stansfield looks clueless as a CF and Brown misplayed balls a few times. Curiel had a hustle play that he guessed wrong if he could catch the fly ball and it cost him, but at least I give him the benefit of the doubt for hustling. I can't say anything good I saw at C & RF.

One bad game does not make the worst outfield in decades. Quite a stretch there.

Once again, someone making grand assumptions over 3 fricking games.
Bad outfield? Try the 3 that we trotted out against Stony Brook that time. Rhymes, Katz, and Edward. No range and no arms to be found.

Has the OP watched all our games this season? What an inaccurate observation.

That’s an understatement.

I'll take Stansfield 100 out of 100 times over whatever "solution" you come up with. He's a great defensive centerfielder.

You caught a case of stupid didn't you?

Pretty big overstatement. I don’t really remember Stanfield messing up so I’m not sure what you are talking about with him. Brown made a great play on a ball off the wall which kept a runner at 3rd. I’m not sure what Brown’s deal is with dropping fly balls though, that one was very strange.

Not any of what you said manifested previously. One game doesn’t supply a statistical trend. Don’t overreact. LSU has a national championship head coach. Respectfully, no one on this board is more qualified than the current coach.

Stanfield & Curiel are above average.
Brown & Pearson are just average.

I appreciate a good early season 1-2 series loss on the road to a top 10 team. Gives you a good sense of who the dumbasses are.

Mac Bingham and Jake Brown played a lot of CF last year and you are asking that question? Have you watched baseball before this past weekend?

For those saying we have a good outfield, try actually watching the players. Stansfield never gets a good jump, looks lost at times, and lollygags on most plays.
Brown is a flip of the quarter. One good play then 3 bad ones.
Whoever went in for Brown had an error also (maybe not an error, but should have got close enough to touch the ball and didn't).

I will never understand it. It has been explained a million times on here that baseball is not like football. One game, or even one weekend, doesn't mean a lot. Don't make rash judgments over a small sample size.
And we have tons of past examples to cite of players being much better in May than in March. Yet the retards can't help themselves. Everyone wants to be some sort of hot-take savant.
The ones I really want to punch in the ovaries are the "Johnson hasn't proven he can win without Crews and Skenes" imbeciles. Jeez.
