Someone help me out here. Shreveport isn’t exactly a booming real estate market. In fact, the city has been bleeding residents for decades.

This house is less than 3,800 sq ft on a tiny lot. The entire lot is only about 6,500 sq ft total.

What makes this house worth $1,190,000.00?

Might be in the most expensive location in that area. I wouldn’t buy that shite but somebody will.

I wouldn't consider that house for a fraction of that price looking at that column alone.

That's in the Provenance neighborhood. Possibly will be the next St. George.

Out of curiosity…

Approx what does that lot cost?

What do you think the cost to build that house was?

What an awful patio layout. The only place to put an outdoor sofa is against those black windows. And you’ll be looking at the fence the whole time.

House isn’t worth half that much. It’s typical Chip and Joanna cookie cutter bullshite. Housing prices are out of control.

If I’m spending that kinda money it’s got to have more space than that.

Looks to be in provenance, where they are able to sell those houses between $250 and $300/sf

That’s a high end build spec. Comparable home build styles are going for similar price per sqft in BR. It’s probably a bit overpriced for Shreveport but not crazy
