He’s got the biggest arsenal of pitches, but we seem intent on capping him at 2x through the order.

Each additional pitch you throw more than 10% of the time reduces the third time through the order penalty.

We should be looking to extend him beyond the 6th rather than pull him in the 4th.

It would take having better handle on pitch calling for him. So I guess I’m just pissing in the wind with this thought.

I agree. He shouldn't shut him down so early.

Completely agree. And he has pitched better than the traditional numbers show. He has had some bad batted ball luck.

With you on all of it, especially this.

I would of let him work out the jam in the 4th I think he was up to 70 or 77 pitches.

Are you questioning Jay Johnson?

Didn’t mind going to Ware tonight but it is weird that it seems so predetermined

Eyanson needs to go 6 innings, then the BP doesn't turn into a amusement park carousel with Jay having such a hot switch.

He’s good for about 4 innings and that’s it. He needs to come out the bullpen.

That was one of the most frustrating parts about tonight's game. Not sure why they pulled him so early.

He had a short leash, but then they left Schmidt out there to get rocked. A little bizarre, imo.

I hope after tonight they try to extend him a little longer, especially with our bullpen being so inconsistent atm.

I agree, however, the bullpen was gonna lose this game regardless of when he got pulled

truly a shite outing

I think we're headed there. I think Jay thought the pen was going to be a strength and didn't want to stretch his Saturday and Sunday guys as much. But he's learning he's going to have to rely on the starters more until Ware, Schmidt, and Guidry prove otherwise

I do think we will get to that point as the season progresses. Just got rattled a bit tonight with the young arms. They will mature and get better. Let’s win the series tomorrow.

Connor ware was one of the most talked about names on the team from Jay coming in. His short leash is kinda crazy.

I thought it was weird bringing Ware in seemingly as a LOOGY.

Maybe he’d have stayed in had he got the out, but it didn’t seem like it.

I think they wanted him to go a few innings but it was weird they just pulled him. Probably didn’t want the game to get away due to BBs

Ware just seemed rattled from the get-go. Did not look comfortable at all.
