Any chance we could pull an arky and grab Bill Self from Kansas?

Self looks miserable there and kansas fans are ready for him to move on. Could our retarded AD make it happen?

Even IF they agreed to part ways, which won’t happen, our coach is still employed so it’s pretty clear we’re unserious anyways.

LSU doesn’t have Walmart money. If somehow it were to happen, SW would sign Bill Self to a $200M - 20 yr contract and we’d be screwed for decades

What exactly is it about our piss poor basketball program that makes you all think coaches like Bill Self or anyone with the name Pitino would come to LSU. Is it the pissant amount of money that LSU spends on basketball or is it the shitty facilities or wait maybe it is the utterly nonexistent fan support….which is it?

Can't get rid of him. LSU is poor, don't have that kinda funds right now. McMahon has 4 more years on his contract and fire him plus his staff. Plus Lsu has alot invested in Brian kelly and his staff - that's over 75 million and renovations around campus other things. Also it will take several hundred million to build a new arena since they waited too long to build a new one or work around the current one.
Lsu is stuck with not many options as they dig further into a hole they got themself in.

This is what a lot of people need to realize. Like it or not, basketball is 3rd on the pecking order for big money donors at LSU.

Why would you want that bum? Without an absurd talent advantage he’s worthless. Not to mention he doesn’t have much left in the tank.
