after just 3 short years. Woodward was able to make an entire fanbase believe his sins were so egregious he’d never coach again, much less for a P5 in a great conference. The great deceiver.

You really needed your own thread to say this?

Woodward let the NCAA cuck him for no reason

It was a spineless move not to back WW and he's paying for it now with Coach McFraud

Wasn’t it reported that protecting football played a large part in it?

I think Scott is doing a good job. I think BK deserves a raise too. Can’t wait to write my check to the athletic department.

Scott successfully made the dark cloud of negativity much smaller. It's much darker now but smaller because we suck so less people give a frick.

The non-emotional fans said this at the time, but Woodward said we were under an “exhausting shroud of negativity.”

Honest question, when was the last time the NCAA got a school to do anything, LSU basketball?

Penn State is the last school I can remember that they hammered.

But that was a decade prior. LSU will be the last major school to crumble under the threat of the NCAA. Everybody else just lawyers up and the NCAA backs down.

This was a smoke screen to sell to fans.

The NCAA has had zero power in well over a decade. We were on the cusp of full fledged NIL and pay for play. The NCAA wasn’t doing jack shite to LSU.

LSU crumbled while Kansas and Auburn didn’t. It’s really that simple.

Come on man, if the NCAA had something on the football program they would’ve punished them regardless of what happened to Will Wade. The NCAA threatened Woodward and he was too stupid to see through it

What do you mean if? They did have stuff on LSU Football and they got punished for it. Think of it as a plea deal

Just heard on truTV on the pregame show. I forgot which one said it when they announced about will Wade and said without a shot of a doubt will Wade will be doing great things at North Carolina State. I forever will dislike Dick Vitale and Pat Ford for whatever reason why they thought they had to go after the general. It's a crying. Shame

If this is how you view it do you believe the Texas and Citrus Bowl invites were worth destroying the men’s basketball program?

You’ve said this a few times now. It makes no sense and you know that.
