Top Tesla Investor Wants Elon To Step Down as CEO of Company due to stock plummet

Story from DM
Elon can't catch a break. I wonder how much he can take before something cracks in his world? Watching him on Hannity last night he looked exhausted and somewhat melancholy. The man's a patriot.

A major Tesla investor made the stunning decision to call on Elon Musk to step down as head of the company as its stock prices plunge amid a nationwide boycott.
Ross Gerber went as far as to say that Musk has 'destroyed' the electric vehicle maker's reputation due to his work as the head of President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency.
'I think Tesla needs a new CEO and I decided today I was going to start saying it, and so this is the first show that I'm saying it on,' Gerber told host Darren McCaffrey on Sky's Business Live on Tuesday.
'It's time for somebody to run Tesla,' he continued, arguing that Musk has stretched himself too thin across his work at DOGE and at X.
'There are too many important things Tesla's doing, so either Elon should come back to Tesla and be the CEO of Tesla and give up his other jobs, or he should focus on the government and keep doing what he is doing, but find a suitable CEO of Tesla.'
Gerber went on to say Tesla is 'absolutely' in crisis, as Business Insider reports that its shares plummeted 53 percent since reaching a record high in December, and its market value plunged by more than $800 billion during the same time period.
'The company's reputation has just been destroyed by Elon Musk,' he argued. 'Sales are plummeting, so yeah, it's a crisis.
'You literally can't sell the best product in the marketplace because the CEO is so divisive.'

I really don't think Elon gives a shite and he looked like he was about to go celebrate last night.

The man is not human, at best he’s half alien.. it’s amazing what one individual can accomplish.

This is nothing but a display of raw cope and rage from the defeated Left.
Elon has literally done nothing wrong.

Gerber is a huge lefty douche. Used to worship Elon. Completely pulled a 180 and started bashing Elon when he began criticizing democrats and supporting Trump.

It’s not a bad take. Elons priorities have shifted.

Investors aren’t usually in a stock to lose money, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from the big investors. This has also been a complaint about Elon for a decade or more, that he has divided attention and can lose focus on a company from time to time. He is the reason these companies are where they are today, and these guys know it and want them to continue to grow and innovate.
DOGE was only supposed to be a short term program for Elon and Vivek and it may have to end in it’s current format sooner than the two year period, but the blueprint is set and as long as Trump is in the White House, I think he can find someone to run it.

Ross Gerber is not a top Tesla investor. It’s like 1% of his firms portfolio at like 100k shares.

Has Tesla ever actually paid Elon?
Recall that his compensation package was nullified twice by that retarded judge in Delaware.

It’s amazing how fast the left eats their own. You see it on here daily. Trump was once worshiped by the left. Rappers loved him. Elon was the man who was saving the world. Try to save America and liberals want you dead. They are sick

Great time to invest in Tesla.

Right, wrong or indifferent, Elons actions are largely responsible for the drop. Period.
“Done nothing wrong” is a simpleton take that refuses to see reality.
Now, this will get downvoted and that also checks out……any minuscule perception the admin is critiqued is met with immediate scorn. When reason is replaced by self-serving anger/resentment/jealousy/etc, we are ALL lost.

Or maybe it’s that far too large a quotient of this country is politically radicalized to hate anything in Trump’s sphere and will resort to domestic terrorism to work out their dysfunction.
The man responsible for Tesla who just brought those two stranded astronauts home is not the problem.
The people who are keying private property, firebombing Tesla dealerships, and doxxing/threatening Tesla owners are the problem, as are those who apologize for them.

There's a man who only cares about money.

Exactly. If this was Ron Baron it would be a different story.

Cause and effect.
If Elon is focused on CEO and not DOGE, none of that happens.
Like physics. This isn’t about “right vs wrong, fair or not”. It’s cause/effect.

Money drives everything.
If you think this is all solely DT loving patriots and his devotion to humanity, then it’s not worth discussing further.

You don't mix business with politics. Major shareholders feel he has lost focus
