Is there any other situation like the Boston Red Sox run of Hall of Fame left fielders out there? They had Williams, then Yaz, then Jim Rice play left field . . . consecutively.

Other situations that come to mind:
1. Orioles 3B - Brooks Robinson --> Cal Ripken, Jr. (there were a few years between them unlike the Red Sox left fielders).

Favre to Rodgers to Love looks pretty good so far in a 30 year span

If not for three years of Kaz Matsui and his anal fissures, the Astros had Biggio-Jeff Kent-Biggio-Altuve at second base from about 92 to 2024

From 1970 to 2004 the Reds shortstop was Dave Concepcion or Barry Larkin. 21 of those years one was an all star.

When Larkin replaced him in the starting line up in 1986, Concepcion was 44 games from the NL record for shortstops.

Back-to-back excellent is remarkable but it's less surprising than when it's continued with 3,4,5 very different players

but Montana, Young I think in pure success is the high water example of this phenomenon
