Would not be disappointed if he’s the pick at 9.

That's a great number for him, even at a proday.

His draft stock won't be hurt

Yeah, unless we get some QBs going earlier than expected...I kinda feel like he goes before 9 now

Still works out good for the Saints because it’ll push someone to 9 that might not have been there. Graham? Warren?
I just hope the Saint don’t get nervous and try to trade up to get their guy. Hold fast and pick the guy that falls to 9 or trade down a bit should be the play.

Off topic but it’s still insane that Calvin Johnson was 6’5 and ran a 4.35 while running in someone’s else’s shoes

Megatron was a freak of nature. 6'11" wingspan with a 4.35 40 and insane body control.

blurb about michael thomas that ran combine and proday

quote:

At his Ohio State pro day in 2016, Michael Thomas ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds, a significant improvement from his 4.57-second time at the NFL combine.

I think him or Graham will be there at 9. Been saying it for weeks now.

I’m good with either one.

It's off topic, but I saw an interview with him awhile back and he says the story is actually backwards. He saw a QB struggling with something and lent the QB his shoes since he wasn't planning on running anyway. Someone had put up some good numbers, so he decided he needed to run and went to get his shoes back. Cameras saw the exchange and ran with the narrative.

Yep no way Panthers let him slip pass them at 8 if he is there, Panthers need weapons for Young

He should 100% be in play if he’s there at 9. Olave is basically one more concussion away from having to consider retirement. Shaheed is better as a slot/deep threat guy.
After that what do we have at the WR position?

Never underestimate Loomis he’ll 100% trade up if he wants him badly enough.

This is the “problem” with trusting pro day times vs combine

40-times of other notable 6-foot-4 receivers:

Christian Watson: 4.36
Nico Collins: 4.45
A.J. Green: 4.48
Mike Williams: 4.49
Drake London: 4.5 (self-reported)
Michael Pittman: 4.52
Tee Higgins: 4.54

That's certainly not as good.

Maybe he will be there at 9 afterall

I also wonder if Campbell falls to 9 if not, and if the Saints see him as a Guard
