Not a surprise. He was essentially demoted and shown the door when Rizzi took over and it was no secret that the DL were not fans of him.

A little more than kind of blasts him. He obliterated him. xD

Don't think I've seen Cam outwardly rip a guy like that if it wasn't at least partially tongue in cheek like talking about how he loves to rip up Atl's tackles and such.

When was the last time Grantham left a job and was praised?

It seems every time he leaves, everyone celebrates and talks about how he's the world's biggest a-hole.

Looking at his resume since 1990. He hasn’t stuck around anywhere more than 3 years and it wasn’t for a promotion. This dude is a cancer!

His track reminds me of Greg Williams and/or Rob Ryan. They do well in years 1 and/or 2 as a DC when they come in blitzing their asses off and causeing havoc but once OCs in their league get film on them, they fail to adjust and have to move to the next gig. Plus thye are all assholes to work with allegedly.

Dennis Allen failures run deep. Dude fouled up the organization at nearly every level.

He sure did and an overlooked casulaty of his inability to be a HC on every single level is that we lost a good DC. I'm sure Staley will be good too but DA the DC is a casulaty of DA the HC.

The one thing I will definitely agree on anyone about is Mickey fricked up REALLY bad by taking the easy way out and promoting Allen to head coach instead of looking outside of the organization.

I hate that we had to have a bad season to get it done, but I'm glad Allen is gone.

And frick Sean for bringing him back in the first place to baby sit Ryan when it was Sean's fault for fricking it up by forcing Ryan to run a cover 3 when he has always run a man blitz scheme, which worked incredibly well that first year since everyone we had was built and trained for it under GW (also why Spags did so poorly his lone year here because he runs mostly zone and we weren't built for it). I only wish Ryan had the balls to tell Sean to frick off when he asked him to completely change his scheme instead of trying to make things work like Sean wanted.

#22 on official sack list. Should easily jump into top 20.

Currently #31 on unofficial.

1) DA was a good DC. Terrible HC butr a really good DC.

2) Rob Ryan looks good his first year or 2 everywhere he is DC and then opponents figure out his blitzing tendancies and he never adjusts.

3) I agree with frick SP but it has nothing to do with having DA as DC.

Grantham has had quite a remarkable career. He never lasts more than 2-3 years (if that long), yet always gets a job. He might be the world’s best interviewer. Or, he’s smart enough to hitch his wagon to desperate HCs in decline

He’s currently on his 11th job since 1999 and has never been anywhere more than 3 seasons during that span. And it’s not like he’s generally leaving for a promotion.

He joked that they draft an EDGE every other year and it's been two years so it's about that time

Even he's had enough of the bullshite.
