I'm having to bring my aunt to a Dr appointment Wednesday from lake Charles to baton rouge, off of blue bonnet, any decent places in the vicinity to eat. Nothing to fancy just good food. Thanks for your advice

What kind of food are you looking for? My first thought was to suggest Parrains as well.
I personally would do that or the Chimes.

If you need to hang around the Perkins/Bluebonnet area south of 10, Coffee Bean in the Surgical Center on Bluebonnet across from the post office has a pretty decent shrimp & corn on Wednesday (after all the years I've gone there I don't understand why it isn't offered on Friday during Lent). The chicken salad is pretty good IMO, but haven't tried much else. Those two are my go-to's for lunch. They also do daily lunch specials. Roux 61 (or whatever it is now, it was Boutin's but I'm not a fan) is next to the surgical center, and Brewbacher's is a little further down on the left.

This is a great thread op. Retard thread title, No specifying if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. No mention of type of cuisine preferred or price point. No follow up to questions meant to help and no follow up on where you went. Nicely done.

Lol, at least Spankum was able to spell Parrain’s mostly correctly. Gets butchered most of the time.
