Trump should say that he’s decided to keep the Dept of Education but that going forward it’s sole purpose would be to sniff out DEI and other discriminatory behavior in our nations universities.

I’m surprised UT isn’t on there in light of various Supreme Court cases stating they have a healthy DEI initiative in admissions. Unless I’m overlooking it

Let's change this.
These universities are not working with dei.
Trump is not anti dei.
These universities are being racists.
Trump is trying to prevent racist practices.

Trump needs to fix the student loan system too. Make it so any loans only go to students studying fields that will lead to actual jobs of adequate quality.
Make the colleges share the burden of bad loans to students who were higher risks.

Private schools can have whatever policies in place that they want. It's their business. Why does the Federal Government care what policies a private institution has?

This will get fun. I wish we could curb international student visas too.

UA closed their DEI department in accordance with state law (SB129) but evidently has reopened under new names, such as the Division of Opportunities, Connections and Success.

You take federal money, you follow federal rules.

UGA has been using DEI in admissions since the 90's, before DEI was a word. I wish they were on the list.
