Crime was the worst it's ever been but it was mostly contained to the parts of town you knew to not go to. Today crime is spread across an entire city thanks to the gov desire to spread shitty people across town and destroy the suburbs.

Political activism while rooted in the hippie generation, really caught fire in the 90's as the beginning of the modern peak clown world. See 90's movie PCU, it was a parody of what was happening at the time, but eventually became truth today.

90's is also when all the Zero Tolerance shite started. You hear stories from the 70s and 80s about kids having shotguns in their truck at school, pocket knives weren't a problem, and even in the very early 90's smoking was still allowed in high school (outdoors) and the smoking age (in GA) was 16. The 90's is when all that ended.
