Of all the shite Disney has done to ruin their brand, nothing is worse than the remakes of classic animation to make it live action. It undermines the magic of the originals, and Disney is supposed to be about animation. It's a shame

As much I hate these remakes, the design for Stitch isn't too bad actually.

I hate modern day Disney but this surprisingly doesn't look too bad

Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

I am not immediately opposed to this.

Chris Sanders (creator of original) is very involved in the live action and I feel pretty sure he won't frick it up.

Stitch looks great which is the first step to this being decent

I agree with the criticism of Disney just recycling animated movies into live action for easy bucks, but this looks fun

Why are traditional BIPOC characters never replaced with White actors?

I am actually looking forward to this one, they did a great job on Stitch and the characters all seem to be 1:1 to the OG and no swaps.

You think they'll put in the scene where the girl hides in the washing machine and then do a shitty CGI pizza box patch over it?

You know, for old times sake.

I'll give them credit, they did a good job with this one.

My one big concern is Lilo as a character. The actor they got absolutely looks the part and even sounds like her. But the problem is that a big part of her character was her being a weird outcast and kind of a brat. In that scene where she gets pushed down, she starts being that girl’s arse and gets kicked out of the club or whatever she was in. So far based on the trailer she just seems like a generic little girl
