I’m all for religion but feels like some prosperity gospel level stuff.

The only way you can know that is if you’re Bear, or personally know him. We should all be putting God first.

From the way you describe it I would call that trying to earn good works for the Lord, not prosperity gospel. There’s nothing wrong with giving God the glory and living out your faith and be a Christ like example whether it’s around teammates or co workers. That’s what we are supposed to do anyways.

Or maybe its his way of giving praise to God for granting him the gifts in his life that allow him to do what he loves.
