it was almost immediately canceled after production as soon as it was unanimously evident how terrible it was. There was clear agreement that it was an abomination
PPG was the greatest animated show ever made. My daughter was right at the perfect age and we watched that shite over and over. Good times

I’m catching a buzz at the airport bar and reminiscing…cartoon network at its peak was every bit as good, maybe better, than the glorious 1970s Saturday morning cartoons. Some of the CN shows were actual art

no wow about it, subjectively of course
it had it all…hand drawn, clever premise, iconic characters, comedy, life lessons, high art backgrounds and settings, occasionally subversive, always smart and well written and a positive influence. I loved it as much as my 2nd grader did and she still loves it today.

Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Courage the Cowardly Dog were some of the finest shows Cartoon Network ever produced. Another solid one that was cancelled before it should have been was The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
