I heard someone, maybe Mike Benz, say most CIA employees aren’t covered by civil service protections and should be the easiest fed employees to fire.

Good riddance
I think one of the host of the All-In podcast summarized it best concerning Tulsi and Kash leading the current workforce in the FBI and CIA (they were discussing the botched 1st rollout of the Epstein files). Both were recently named captains of a ship filled with sailors who hate them and actively worked against them. They will need a new crew.

Gonna need a link to an actual news source article as this feels a bit too much Lucy-holding-a-football to me.

I’m not sure during the recent hired is best in this situation. Seems to me we need to purge the old guard who have been working against the people of the United States for a long time.

This is the one agency that can be cut to the bone and neither Dem nor Rep voters will give a damn. Only the MSM and deep state will complain.

Seems more of a show as in..." ok look we got rid of our bad and useless people, now stay the f@ck out".

From listening to a few interviews with the people who helped create DOGE before DOGE and Elon were a thing:
1. Firing probationary employees is an easy legal way to mass fire. Feds have a sort of immunity or tenure that makes it difficult to get rid of them otherwise.
2. Probationary employees includes promotions. Part of the "deep state" is these ideological foot soldiers who get installed across agencies to carry out the agenda in case a democratically elected president gets in the way.
As Trump moved from potential candidate to frontrunner to nominee to president elect the swamp made adjustments.
Most recent we saw this with them spending hundreds of billions in Dec and Jan to get that money into the laundry cycle. And confirming hundreds of judges post election. And pushing dozens of bullshite EOs and regulations in Dec and Jan to block the wishes of the American people.
This also included promoting people into bureaucratic positions that would then undermine MAGA 2.0 just like they did during the first term.
Firing probationary employees gets rid of a lot of these rats. Not all of the rats but some of them.
Phase 2 would be going after the career rats which will prove more challenging from a legal standpoint.

The new ones hired in the last 2 yrs aren't the problem ones. It's the ones buried deep with agendas that need to flushed out.

Now this is where the old Soviets had us beat.
When they purged, it wasn't this firing shite, they PURGED.

I read somewhere that after the election the Biden people pushed a lot of the Biden staffers into Civil service positions for the purpose of interfering with Trump's agenda. The hole in the plan is that Biden staffers are now on probation and can be terminated for no reason.
