attention, it ripped my freakin heart out.

That was a huge moment for that child.
I pray to God he makes it through.

Of all the rotten things the democrats have done, not enjoying that moment with that sweet child ranks up with the worst.

Character is what you do when you think no one is looking.

The focus was on the kid and no one was looking at the dim's. But the cameras panned the crowd and while everyone in the room was standing honoring the young man the dim's were sitting to make the point Trump mentioned earlier, not celebrating or congratulating no matter what. They sat there, stone faced showing themselves for the evil filled, self centered, vile creatures we all know them to be. Shame on the democrats!

The dnc and its leadership in the Houses is at a all time low. Another horrible plan gone horribly wrong.

When he hugged that director (I assume) it looked for a second like that was spontaneous and he almost leaked some eye fluid.

Did you notice that he came and gave a high five to the kid that got the appointment to West Point? Class act! Dad should get an award for how he is raising that young man!

Of course it did, it shows you are a decent human being capable of feeling empathy and compassion for others rather than performative virtue signaling.

I also loved when the kid high-fived the WestPoint scholar kid. that was great and you know dems hated seeing a black kid doing this to a white kid because it absolutely destroys their narrative about how everybody in America is racist

That was the moment for me, just so cool to see a 13 year old kid with the presence of mind to go do it live on camera.

IF the Republicans were any bit smart, they would take out TV, internet, and billboard ads across the country, but especially in purple/swing areas, contrasting the Dem’s not standing or clapping for each important personal story last night with the standing and cheering by the Republicans.

It was certainly terrible.

I've unfortunately come to the point, however, where pretty much everything done by that side of the aisle hits me about the same every time. I suspect this is due to my matter-of-fact acceptance that these people, along with Uniparty RINOs, are the most depraved and morally debased Etatist kleptocrats to have ever risen to such heights of power. Nothing they do surprises me any more.

That's pretty fricked up when I type that out and read it to myself. But it is what it is.

GOD bless that young man, and he along with his family will have a place in my prayers.

The guy he hugged was trumps head secret service guy . He was on Trump like white on rice during the PA assassination attempt . Brought a tear to my eye for sure .

Steven Curran, and he's now the director of the Secret Service.
