They were being clowned in real time, which is why I suspect they stopped using them about 1/3 of the way through.
If you wanted to turn off the general public, I don't think the Dem's strategy of scowling and sitting on their hands could have worked better.

He has them so spun up on a personal vendetta against him that I don’t think any of them are acting rationally anymore from a strategic, tactical or messaging standpoint.
Can anyone name a single issue on which Nancy Pelosi supports part of the Trump agenda right now?
He had them so turned around last night they wouldn’t cheer a terminal child getting an honorary spot with the Secret Service.
It truly is oppose Trump on everything and resist and they’re getting crushed on these 80:20 / 70:30 issues like DEI, Trans sports and ending the war in Ukraine.
Even worse than the positions are the optics though. Their party is now the angry spiteful woman in a purple wig and the elderly black guy with a cane shouting like a homeless person being escorted out of Congress. That’s fine in Portland, but no one in C PA or suburban MI wants to vote for that.

Trump could come out in support of those things and the dems would flip positions.
Kamala had the no tax on tips platform as well, but now Dems are against it. It’s not about actually helping, but OMB. It’s stopping both sides of the aisle from working together to help unify the country.
