I saw this recently on Paramount or Prime, can't remember which. I had never seen this movie, and I can't believe I missed it because it is right up my alley. Really great script and the casting is excellent. Solid flick.

SPOILER:

i actually like this ending more. he now lives in fear that he's created a monster and is going to get murdered at any point, but he can't take care of it because of his granddaughter.

also, I always forget the random subplot with Demi Moore in this movie.

Yeah, Cross Lake. Kev held court every night he was in town at Superior Steak House.

I think it was the best movie filmed in Shreveport. The Guardian was good, and definitely the most popular, but Mr. Brooks was a much better movie.

I miss Hollywood South

Yep, good cast. I especially like William Hurt as his alter-ego egging him on and then trying to talk him out of something he was contemplating.

Costner did a good job playing the corporate businessman by day and serial killer by night.

Lots of twists and turns in this one with Dane Cook and Demi Moore's characters too.

Great movie that’s really underrated. I think they had a plan for more sequels but it didn’t perform well enough to get those green lit.

Yeah, a lot of question about who her dad is.

Fun fact. Hollywood remodeled a friend of mines house for Mr. Brooks. Remodeled the whole house and only used their master bedroom for the movie.

I enjoyed waiting, Dan in real life, and even though it’s bad…Employee of the month.

That being said it’s crazy that he was one of the biggest comedians in the early 2000s
